Our Outreach
We love our community, the City of Kawartha Lakes, and feel God calling us to bless our neighbours and friends. We passionately believe the best thing we can offer anyone is an introduction to the life change Jesus offers from the inside out for those who turn to Him with all their heart! In all we do, that is our greatest aim. To help us accomplish this is the tireless work of our outreach volunteers, who serve on their own or as a cohort. We have a unique partnership with Youth Unlimited to reach kids at risk through the work of Pastor Jesse Graham in his additional role as a YU Outreach Worker! We also have a monthly meal experience at one our local KLH apartment buildings and provide additional support through our partnership with the local Mission Thrift Store. Furthermore, we set aside a space, known as the Blessing Room, for donated items distributed into the community. We also support the Centre of Hope food bank with two annual food drives. At Christmas time you will find us in partnership with other churches in providing toys for local kids at need. We also partner with the chaplaincy coat drive program at CECC for inmates being released. That’s the initiatives we are aware of but realize that many more initiatives happen by the good folks at our church looking to make a difference
For information on how you can plug into what we do please contact the office. If you require assistance, please connect with our lead outreach worker who can be reached at (249)-332-1998.

John and Julie run many different humanitarian ministries in Kyrgyzstan, but their main focus is The Farm. The Farm is a great place where orphans and those who have fallen through the cracks can get a fresh start at life. They will be given a warm bed, hot meals, and even a small salary for working on The Farm. More importantly, they will receive the counselling, training , and the direction that they need to develop hope for their future. The farm also provides meat and vegetables to the local orphanages, institutions, and families in need.
